Join local Boys & Girls Club board members for a dynamic and interactive learning opportunity designed to foster peer-to-peer exchange, strengthen governance practices, and elevate organizational impact. This facilitated training experience brings together board leaders from across the Movement to share best practices, explore common challenges, and co-create solutions in a supportive environment.
Topics include: Board Development, Performance & Accountability, Terms, Tenures & Transitions, Board Member Engagement, Strategic Planning, Board Structures & Practices, Effective Relationships, Resource Development.
This program is especially targeted to Governance Committee Members and Board Chairs, but all board members are welcome.
Requirements: 2-5 Board Members committed to participating in one hour virtual Board Network sessions over 6 months. At least 1 board member must attend each session. CEO (or designee) participation to support board development. Consultation with Director Organizational Development (DOD) in between sessions to support implementation of learnings.
