EPRI 30th Annual Power Switching Safety and Reliability (SS&R) Conference - Oct 2026

The SS&R Conference will address some of the key issues in the electric utility field, including Inspection and testing of Insulating Tools, 3D scanning, Error Vulnerability, and Artificial Intelligence, post-event analysis, and pre-planning. The format for this year's Conference includes General Sessions focused on enhancing switching safety and reliability through the effective use of people, processes, and tools, ensuring the safety and reliability of operations for all involved. There will be plenty of opportunities among participants through structured intervals during breaks, lunch, and events, allowing for the exchange of experiences and the building of professional relationships. The last day of the Conference will enable the EPRI SS&R Task Force and leadership to evaluate the conference outcomes, discuss pertinent SS&R business issues, and set the direction for future research initiatives within the field.
