This course will focus on recent advances in the care of our diabetic patients. We will provide an update on monitoring options for diabetic dogs and cats, including CGM’s, their accuracy, and patient selection. We will also discuss therapeutic options that are becoming more prevalent, such as insulin degludec, glargine 300, and other insulin approaches. Because many of our diabetic patients have multiple comorbidities, we will also briefly discuss how this might alter our management approach.
