Primary Prevention with Planet Youth

The February 6^th opioid response webinar returns to the critical topic of primary prevention and features a presentation from Planet Youth in Iceland on the landmark Icelandic Prevention Model.  Join Nicolas Barreiro, Partner Relationship Manager for Planet Youth and his team as they describe the lessons learned and the results achieved.  The Icelandic Model has been widely replicated across the globe and currently the model is being implemented in19 countries (including 11 active projects in the U.S.) across all five continents.  

Moderated by Gordon Smith, Maine’s Director of Opioid Response and Nicole Record, this webinar promises to be one of the year’s most popular.  Nicole recently returned to Maine from Iceland where she studied drug policy as part of a Fulbright project.
