The LUF Leadership Development Course for Fire-Rescue Leaders

Leadership Under Fire – Optimizing Human Performance by preparing mission-oriented leaders and organizations to navigate physical, mental, emotional, intellectual and moral rigors in highly-competitive settings by developing strength of mind, body, character and critical thought.

The LUF Leadership Development Course curriculum includes five-days of dynamic instruction, discussion and collaboration, oriented on tactical leadership.  The program is geared toward company officers and firefighters with influence at the unit level.  The weeklong course is being held at a country farm where all resident LDC participants will learn, reflect, eat and sleep under the same roof.
Course themes include: The Moral Imperative of Leadership; Mission-Oriented Leadership; Development and Implementation of a Command Philosophy; Generating Tempo and Mental Performance at Fires and Emergencies.  The course includes a command and staff ride of the Gettysburg Battlefield and a day devoted to tactical fitness.

This immersive course promises to challenge leaders to THINK about the moral, mental and physical aspects of mission-oriented leadership and optimal human performance in a way that no other program does.
Registration is LIMITED to 25  leaders.
