COVID-19 Conference Protocol:
The health and safety of attendees at the 2023 NCA Leadership Conference are a top priority for the National Children’s Alliance. Due to the ongoing changes with the Covid-19 pandemic, NCA will no longer require proof of vaccination status or a negative test result to attend the 2023 Leadership Conference. Instead, NCA encourages attendees to assume responsibility themselves and to follow guidance from the Centers for Disease Control regarding measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
We are requesting that attendees at the conference take the following measures to help keep our community safe:
- Ensure that your Covid-19 vaccinations are up to date.
- Take a Covid-19 rapid antigen test within 24 hours prior to your departure for Leadership Conference and do not attend in-person if you test positive.
- Mask-wearing at this event is highly encouraged but will be optional.
- If you are not feeling well or exhibit any signs of Covid-19 or other illnesses, stay home, even if you have mild symptoms. If you are in contact with someone who is sick or exhibits signs of illness, stay home while you watch for symptoms.
If you are registered to attend Leadership Conference, you will have virtual access to all of the sessions in the event that you are unable to attend in-person due to illness or a positive Covid-19 test. In-person attendees can modify their registration to virtual at any time before or during the conference.
We appreciate your cooperation in helping to keep our community safe and healthy. Please note that these guidelines are subject to change based on updated guidance from the CDC or other public health authorities. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and communicate any updates as needed.
Disability Accommodations: For disability accommodations please contact NCA as soon as possible.
