Michael Polisky MD Assistant Clinical Professor, UCLA Burbank Rheumatology and Endocrinology at UCLA Health
Dr. Polisky is triple-boarded in internal medicine (adult primary care), pediatrics, and endocrinology. He received both his medical and post-graduate training at the University of Southern California (now the Keck School of Medicine) and the Los Angeles County General Hospital. Dr. Polisky’s primary practice focuses on endocrinology with the bulk of it being in diabetes management and thyroid disease. He specializes in new therapeutics for diabetes such as automated insulin delivery systems, insulin pumps, and continuous glucose monitoring. His goal is not just to take care of illness, but to help his patients understand their diseases better, so that they can better care for themselves.
