Registration Overview

  • The program will cover information on material handling, preconditioning, extrusion of pet foods, extruded and non-extruded treats, raw material, extrusion hardware, automation, product analysis, meat handling in pet food, drying, cooling, and enrobing, food safety, pet food and treat shelf life, and trouble shooting.
  • Participants completing the course will be awarded a Certificate and are eligible for 30 Professional Development Hours (PDHs).

Easterwood Airport at College Station is easily reached by several daily flights. From Dallas/Fort Worth Intercontinental Airport, connect via American Airlines. The airport code for Easterwood Airport is CLL.

REGISTRATION:

The registration fee for the short course includes a light breakfast, lunch, and refreshments at breaks, a short course eBook manual, and certificates of completion. Registration fees are not refundable, but substitute personnel may be sent by the same firm. Space is limited; therefore, applications will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis.

SHORT COURSE CONDUCT:

All short course sessions will be informal. Questions are encouraged during the lectures, breaks, and social periods. Laptops are allowed in the classroom to follow the presentations in the short course eBook manual. Rights to cancel this course with refund, to deny service, to substitute speakers, and to change schedules, as necessary to expedite the course, are reserved. Texas A&M University System policy does not allow inclusion of alcoholic beverages in registration fees.

  • Early Bird Rate is $1,495.00 - Register by June 14, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (CT)
  • $1,595.00 in-person and live-online per course registration (non-refundable)
  • After June 14, 2026 the registration fee will increase by $100
  • A 10% discount is available if three or more individuals from the same organization register for the course
  • Credit Card or Electronic Check - Please have payment ready to apply during registration.
  • Request Approval for Invoicing / Wire Transfer 
  • Payment for the course must be received prior to the course start date.
  • Please note that if you plan to apply payment via a wire transfer, a standard $30 fee will apply.
