Summary - Digitalisation of CGD Networks 2026

Digitalisation is transforming CGD networks into smart, connected energy systems. CGD players are integrating various technologies and digital platforms to enhance asset management and strengthen operations and maintenance (O&M). These technologies have assisted in the effective monitoring and maintenance of assets, enhanced operations through faster identification of problem areas, and improved the identification and prevention of leakages and asset malfunctions. Moreover, advanced systems are facilitating end-to-end monitoring, digital visualisation and data-driven decisionmaking. Cloud-based platforms and centralised control systems are also being used to monitor pipeline networks and CNG stations remotely.
