Across the country, state and local leaders are navigating a defining moment. As federal support for emergency preparedness, mitigation, and recovery becomes less certain, communities are simultaneously confronting more frequent and severe weather events.

This Institute will equip Latino leaders with practical insights on how technology and AI can strengthen emergency preparedness, improve decision-making, and build more resilient communities.

The program will also include a site visit to Walmart’s Emergency Management Center at the company’s corporate headquarters, offering a firsthand look at innovative approaches to large-scale emergency response.
