✈️ Indianapolis International Airport
If you're flying in, you'll be thrilled to know Indianapolis International Airport has earned a wall full of accolades, including Best Airport in North America by Airports Council International (thirteen years running), and by J.D. Power and Associates (for the seventh time), Best Overall Passenger Experience by J.D. Power and Associates, and Best Airport in America by Condé Nast Traveler the past five years.
Transportation from the airport to the hotel (15 miles)
Rideshare (Uber / Lyft): A standard private ride usually averages around $30 each way.
- The Alexander Hotel Limo/Car Service: The hotel can arrange a private Town Car ($42) or an SUV ($65) each way. Advance reservations are required; you can arrange this by calling Royal Limo at (317) 529-8040.
- Taxi: Cabs wait outside the lower level of the terminal. Fares typically range between $30 and $40 to downtown, with a mandatory $15 minimum charge.
- Shared Shuttle: Companies like Prime Time Shuttle offer shared vans starting at about $28 per person.
- Public Transit (IndyGo): You can take the IndyGo Route 8 bus for a highly budget-friendly $6 for an all-day pass.
If you are trying to book a rideshare, compare prices on the Uber or Lyft apps as you land, as surge pricing can occasionally cause the rates to fluctuate.
