Immersive Learning Experiences
Immersive Learning Experiences
Immersive Learning Experiences remain a defining element of the HAN Convening, inviting participants to move beyond the traditional conference environment and engage directly with anchor strategies in practice.
Aligned with this year’s theme — Collective Strength. Local Action: Sustaining Our Momentum — these experiences highlight how coordinated, community-rooted efforts translate vision into sustained impact. Through curated site visits, attendees will see firsthand how health systems, community organizations, and public sector partners are working in tandem to strengthen local ecosystems and advance long-term, place-based solutions.
Each experience is intentionally designed to illustrate the outcomes of collaborative action—across areas such as housing, food access, workforce development, and economic mobility—offering practical takeaways, fresh perspectives, and adaptable models that participants can bring back to their own communities.
Guidance for Immersive Learning Experiences
Attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably and be prepared for active participation. Please wear footwear suitable for extended walking and dress appropriately for varying weather conditions. We also encourage attire that is respectful and mindful of the communities we will be engaging with.
