What Should I Wear?
We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing for the two days. Although you will be in our training room for most of the two days, there is a plant tour scheduled as well as a Hands-On Mock-Up. During the time of your tour, the manufacturing area will be in full operation, and we ask that you dress appropriately.
At Kirby Building Systems, the safety of our visitors and teammates is a top priority.
The following personal protective equipment will be required:
Items provided by Kirby Building Systems:
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses (we have glasses that may be worn in conjunction with prescription eyewear)
- Ear plugs
- High visibility vest
- Gloves & sleeves as needed
Items that must be provided by the participant:
- Hard-soled shoes with hard sides (such as leather work boots or shoes), or steel-toed boots or shoes are required. Open-toed shoes, hiking boots, sandals, clogs, high heels or tennis shoes are NOT permitted.
- We will ask that you remove all jewelry prior to the plant tour.
- Long pants are required. Shorts, skirts, dresses, skorts, or capri pants will not be permitted.
