Erector Schools
Each session is offered at no cost (excluding travel and hotel expenses) at our Portland, TN facility. We keep class sizes small to focus on each one of you to ensure you get a more engaging experience. Participation is limited, so you'll want to register as soon as possible.
Sessions begin at 8:00 AM Central Time, and last until approximately 4:30 PM Central Time. Lunches and snacks are provided, as well as dinner one evening.
Our Erector Schools, offered to anyone who erects Kirby buildings, are two-day workshops exclusively designed to give you a better understanding of our building components and prepare you for your next project!
We'll cover the following topics:
- support services
- standard industry practices and claims
- primary framing details
- wall and roof sheeting details
- SS360 erection details and procedures
- a hands-on mockup of SS360
- an open forum with feedback session
- ShakeoutPro®
You'll also be given a guided tour of our manufacturing facility and introduced to the people, culture, and organization of Kirby Building Systems. Please be sure to review our What to Wear? page.
