BASIC and the Stanley Center for Peace and Security are grateful for your contributions to the Oral History Project and eager to celebrate the conclusion of this cohort’s interview projects.

We are pleased to invite you to join us the week of November 2, 2026, in Seville, Spain for the final event in this edition of the Oral History Project.

The event will include a cohort celebration on November 4 and a 2-day workshop November 5 and 6. Some members of the cohort will arrive early to conduct additional oral history interviews on-site on November 2 and 3.

Organizers will arrange and pay for economy class, round-trip, nonrefundable airfare, hotel, ground transportation in Seville, and meals during the event. We encourage those participants who will require a visa for travel to Seville to both RSVP for the event and apply for a visa as soon as possible. Organizers can provide supporting documentation and reimburse visa application fees.
