Latino Professionals in Aerospace is the leading association and voice for professionals from Latino cultures worldwide. We are dedicated to opening doors and elevating opportunities for our members across the aerospace industry.

Our Story

Founded in 2015, what began as an organization supporting Latino pilots has grown into a powerful community representing engineers, researchers, air traffic controllers, educators, astronaut and every vital role in between.

Our mission is clear: to inspire, mentor, and develop the Hispanic/Latino community by advancing careers, amplifying voices, and increasing representation in every corner of aerospace. We are here to break barriers, build bridges, and ensure that the next generation sees themselves in the skies and beyond.

Expo & Gala

The LPA Aerospace Industry Expo celebrates our familia of aviation and aerospace professionals - from pilots and mechanics to engineers, students, educators, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders - honoring the journeys, culture, and community shaping our future opportunities in flight.

By popular demand, we've expanded our Expo this year to TWO dynamic days!

THURSDAY, Sept. 17

• Our 2026 event begins with the LPA Town Hall where guests will hear from our Board about progress in 2025, followed by a celebration-filled ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the Expo.
• At the Expo, you can meet recruiters from leading airlines, airports, and aerospace companies, alongside educators and training programs preparing the next generation of talent.
• Many airline employers will conduct onsite interviews and extend job offers during the event, creating a rare opportunity for pilots to take the next step in their careers.
• The celebration continues with a lively welcome reception in the evening.

FRIDAY, Sept. 18:

• Our Expo will continue for another exciting day, featuring incredible recruiting and networking opportunities, live entertainment, and food trucks featuring delicious favorites from an array of top Latino chefs from the region.
• Our event will culminate on Friday night at the LPA Gala - an unforgettable evening celebrating our community's achievements, honoring scholarship recipients, spotlighting inspiring voices from across the aerospace community and      thanking our sponsors.
• Guests will enjoy vibrant live entertainment representing a variety of Latino cultures, incredible food, meaningful conversations, and a powerful celebration of leadership, opportunity, and community.
