October 2026 New Employee Orientation

New employee orientation is offered once per month.  This orientation will be conducted in person in University Center 309 (UC309).

Employees will need to go to their MyUCCS Portal at https://my.cu.edu/, then click on UCCS to login.  Click on the Percipio tile located under the Training drop down or Training tile. When in Percipio, in the Search box type in UCCS New Employee Orientation and click on it. Register for the month you want to take.

For Classified employees - the start time is 8:15 am.

For University Staff and Faculty - the start time is 9:00 am.

Please review your letter of offer to verify if you are a Classified employee or not.  The session will conclude for all at 11:45 am.

After the New Employee Orientation is the:

The agenda for orientation includes a review of employee benefits, important campus information and available resources, and all the perks and benefits of joining the UCCS team. This orientation is for staff and faculty and is not open to student employees.

There will be a photographer to take headshots at this event. Consider dressing professionally. Keep it simple, wear what you might wear if attending a professional meeting or job interview. Stay true to yourself and your brand. Incorporate subtle branding colors if it is appropriate. Otherwise, use colors that compliment your eye color, skin tone and hair color.
