This training event in particular is a pilot delivery of the recently updated Ethics in Prevention curriculum. As part of the pilot process, portions of both training days will be dedicated to gathering participant feedback on the curriculum and training experience. Feedback collected during the pilot will help inform final revisions prior to the curriculum's national release.

Because participant feedback is essential to the pilot process, attendees are expected to participate in the full training, including all feedback and discussion activities. Education hours will only be provided to those present for the duration of the event.

This pilot training will be worth 9 CE Credits: 6 hours of Ethics training, which can be submitted to your state's Prevention Certification Board to meet the prevention ethics requirement for Prevention Specialist certification or re-certification, and an additional 3 hours of Professional Growth and Responsibility. This training is endorsed by the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC)

Note: This Ethics workshop is intended for people who work in the Substance Use Prevention Field. This workshop will NOT address ethical issues for Treatment Providers and will NOT satisfy the ethic requirements for Treatment Providers. For Example: LADC, CADC, LCSW, Etc.
