JOIN US: FALL COMMISSIONER SPEAKER SERIES
Leadership, Policy, and Social Work in Action
How do public-sector leaders turn policy into meaningful change for individuals, families, and communities?
Join NYU Silver for candid conversations with three commissioners whose work spans criminal justice, child welfare, and correction. Explore the experiences that shape their leadership, the challenges facing public systems, and the role of social work in advancing effective, equitable responses.
This event is designed to address the social work ethical principles of helping people in need and addressing social problems, which align with the value of Service contained in the Code of Ethics for the National Association of Social Workers.
It will be held in a hybrid format, with opportunities to participate both in person and virtually. In-person space is limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged for those wishing to attend on campus.
Light refreshments will be served for in-person attendees. All are welcome to join the conversation, whether on campus or online.
