We are delighted to welcome you to the 10th Annual Interpreters and Translators Conference: Rooted in Growth: A Decade of Dedication to Professionalize Language Access in Education.

Interpreters and translators working in the K-12 system are striving toward professional practices, becoming stronger, more empathetic, mindful, and united. We are dedicated to communicating across cultures, providing meaningful language access for families, students, and the communities we serve.

• Thursday, September 24, 2026
  • Join us for 3-hour Deep Dive Sessions offered by experts in the field ($100 per session)
• Friday, September 25, 2026
  • Day 1 will begin with an opening Keynote by Dr. Nicole Chavez, followed by the Award Ceremony for our Interpreters of the Year and Language Access Administrator of the Year, as well as a special presentation by our Featured Speaker, Mireya Perez.
  • The day will continue with 1-hour sessions
• Saturday, September 26, 2026
  • Day 2 will offer a variety of 1-hour sessions throughout the day
  • A Panel of Champions - The importance of partnerships
  • The day will conclude with a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of ITC and a heartfelt closing session with Dr. Jennifer Love

This year's conference will be hosted in-person and virtually on September 25-26, 2026. Additional Deep Dive session will be hosted in-person on September 24, 2026. All in-person engagements will be hosted at the Orange County Department of Education.

Descriptions for all participation types are below:

1. Full Conference (In-Person Only) participants will attend the conference  in-person each day. Includes parking, breakfast and lunch meals, access to all general and breakout sessions, and access to add Deep Dive sessions for an additional cost. 
2. Full Conference (Virtual Only) participants will attend through the 2026 ITC online platform and event app. All general and breakout sessions will be available online. 
3. Full Conference (Hybrid) participants will have the flexibility to attend the full event in-person, join entirely virtually, or pivot between the two options as their schedules allow. If attending in-person, includes parking, breakfast and lunch meals, access to all general and breakout sessions, and access to add Deep Dive sessions for an additional cost.
4. Deep Dive Sessions Only (In Person Only) option is available. Participants who select this option will be charged $100 per each session selected. Access to the full conference is not included.
