Networking Mixer

Networking Mixer: Practice Your Skills, Explore Graduate Programs

Networking is one of the most important skills for your future career—but rarely do you get the chance to practice in a low-pressure environment. This session is designed to help you build confidence, learn tips and tricks for starting conversations, and practice networking with your peers.

Here’s the twist: instead of generic topics, you’ll use Smeal’s graduate programs as your conversation starter. You’ll rotate through small groups, meeting current graduate students who were once in your shoes. They’ll share their real experiences—why they chose business school, what they’ve learned, and how it’s shaping their career path.

By the end, you’ll walk away with two big wins:

• Practical networking experience that makes professional conversations less intimidating.
• First-hand insight into Smeal’s graduate programs from current students.

This isn’t a lecture or a career fair—it’s a stress-free, interactive way to practice networking and connect with students who know what it’s like to stand where you are now. All majors are encouraged and welcome to attend.
