By registering to attend an event hosted by MPI South Florida, you agree to the following registration policies and terms and conditions:

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

We understand that plans change. Please review our policy below for event cancellations and refunds:

  •  Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to an in-person event may receive a credit toward a similar event within the same MPI calendar year (ending December 31). 
  •  Substitutions are not allowed.
  •  In cases of extraordinary circumstances—such as the death or hospitalization of an immediate family member (partner, parent, or sibling)—members may request an exception. Such requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of the Office of the President.
  •  If MPI South Florida cancels an event, registrants will receive either a full refund or a credit code, per their preference. Notice of cancellation will be sent to the email on file. 
  •  MPI South Florida is not responsible for any additional costs incurred due to a cancellation or rescheduling. 
  •  All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to southfloridampi@gmail.com. 
  •  If approved, refunds/credits are typically processed within 30 days of the event and will be issued in the original form of payment. 
  •  Refunds will be granted only as explicitly outlined above.

PHOTO & MEDIA RELEASE
By registering for an MPI South Florida event, you consent to the use of your image, likeness, and voice as captured in photographs, video, or audio recordings. These materials may be edited, published, and distributed without compensation or the right to review. Usage may occur in various formats and locations—including online and in educational settings—without time or geographic limitations.

HARASSMENT & DISCRIMINATION POLICY
MPI South Florida is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or retaliation based on any legally protected characteristic will not be tolerated. Participation may be revoked at the chapter’s sole discretion for any failure to comply with this policy.

REGISTRANT INFORMATION SHARING
By registering, you agree to allow MPI South Florida to share your name, title, and company with event sponsors and partners, and to display your information on public registration lists. You may opt out of sponsor sharing during the registration process.

ADDITIONAL POLICIES

  •  Speaker views are their own and do not necessarily reflect those of MPI South Florida.
  •  Name badges are required for access to all sessions, networking, and activities.
  •  Attendees are responsible for tracking their education credit participation, even if MPI South Florida reports credits.
  •  Our cancellation and refund policy is subject to change without notice.
  •  No recording, taping, or streaming of events is permitted without prior written approval.

EVENT TERMS UPDATES
Any updates to MPI South Florida's Event Terms will be posted on the chapter website and will become effective upon posting. Continued event participation indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
