ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the 6th Annual IFC Climate Business Forum has been postponed until the risk has subsided. We will update this site as soon as we identify the new date. Thank you for your patience as we work out the details. We hope to see you at the IFC Climate Business Forum later this year.
CLIMATE BUSINESS
Climate change has moved from the periphery to the core of corporate strategy. Smart leaders know that change means new opportunities. It means positioning your business at the forefront of innovation—in technology and overall business strategy.
The International Finance Corporation and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority are pleased to announce the 6th Annual IFC Climate Business Forum, in Hong Kong, on February 18-19, 2020.
The two-day event will showcase best practices in green banking and sustainable business. Business executives and thought leaders will present innovations in climate-smart technologies and business models, share experiences, and discuss leading solutions to green your business. A shift to low-carbon, resilient economies could translate into $23 trillion investments globally through to 2030.
Be part of the momentum that drives the shift and harnesses these opportunities to grow your business.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER

We are delighted to announce that Mary Robinson, Former President of Ireland and author of "Climate Justice" will be the keynote speaker at the event.
Perhaps more than any other problem humanity has faced, climate change confronts us with the reality of our interdependence. No country alone can protect their citizens from the impacts of climate change. While everyone will feel the impacts, they will not be felt equally by everyone.
As communities and businesses move toward zero carbon by 2050, companies and countries will be asked to take care of those whose jobs are at risk and who will feel the biggest impacts of climate change.
"Clever businesses will seize the opportunities presented by climate change".
Mary Robinson, Former President of Ireland
