The Prevent Cancer Dialogue: Community Impact Through Collaboration brings together a diverse range of stakeholders from clinical medicine and public health to foster discussion and share evidence-based strategies and best practices for delivering cancer screening and prevention in communities and workplaces. This year, the Prevent Cancer Dialogue will provide its high-quality content at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel in Arlington, Virginia, for our first in-person conference since 2022.
The schedule is packed with exciting opportunities for participants to immerse themselves in information-rich presentations on topics important to our field, facilitated conversations, relationship building and more. Participants find the best results when they bring the “Dialogue” back to their communities or workplaces and take actionable steps to make a difference.
This year’s planned topics include:
- Current trends and looking ahead at prevention: discussions to include multiple topics from dietary recommendations to genomics and precision prevention
- Innovative successes at the community level
- Harnessing AI tools to address patient populations and gaps in care, and patient perceptions as this technology progresses
- Expert-led workshopping sessions
- Landscape and direction of early detection, including interventions such as multi-cancer detection and biomarkers
- Current advocacy and policy issues
- State of the science overviews in breast, lung, colorectal, and liver cancers, HPV-associated cancers, and hepatitis B and C

Registration and Conference Policy Information
Conference Pricing
- Early Bird (ends 11:59 p.m. ET on March 16, 2026) - $295
- Standard (ends 11:59 p.m. ET on April 30, 2026) - $335
- On-site (May 7-8, 2026) - $385
Methods of Payment for Registration Fee Policy
Payment can be made by U.S. check/money order (payable to Prevent Cancer Foundation) or by credit card—MasterCard, VISA, Discover or American Express—only. A fee is charged for any returned check or declined credit card. Checks must be received by April 24, 2026.
On-site payments must be made by credit card or cashier's check.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
If an attendee cancels for any reason, a refund of the registration fee will be given, less $30 for administrative costs, until close of business on Friday, April 17, 2026. After Friday, April 17, no refunds will be given except for special circumstances.
If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from attending the 2026 Prevent Cancer Dialogue, you may request an exception to this policy. To do so, please email a summary of your situation to Adrienne Harkness, adrienne.harkness@preventcancer.org, and include any documentation to support your case.
All registration cancellations and refunds will be processed in the same manner as original payment.
Please Note: Canceling your meeting registration does not automatically cancel your hotel reservation. Hotel reservations must be canceled separately, directly with the hotel.
An attendee who does not cancel by email to adrienne.harkness@preventcancer.org and does not attend the conference will be considered a “no show” and will not receive a refund for the registration fee. In the event of an unforeseen circumstance, this event may be canceled by the Prevent Cancer Foundation®, and the Foundation is not obligated to refund any expenses that attendees may incur.
