ENGAGE Africa 2026

Bringing together CIMA members, senior finance leaders, policymakers, economists and innovators from across Africa and beyond, ENGAGE Africa 2026 offers 2,5 days of strategic dialogue, insight and collaboration. Under the theme The Next Wave of Resilience, the conference will explore how finance leaders can navigate a world shaped by geopolitical change, economic volatility, digital disruption and rising sustainability expectations. In this environment, leaders are expected not only to safeguard financial integrity, but also to help guide organisations through uncertainty, transformation and long-term growth.

Launched in the region in 2024, ENGAGE Africa is a CIMA flagship conference with increasing strategic relevance and influence across the continent. Set against the scenic backdrop of Somerset West in Cape Town, the event provides a distinctive platform for Africa’s accounting and finance leadership community to step back from daily pressures, exchange ideas and engage with the trends reshaping the future of the profession.

Across keynote sessions, executive dialogue and interactive discussions, ENGAGE Africa 2026 will unpack the critical forces shaping Africa’s economic and business landscape, including global economic fragmentation, sovereign risk, regional integration, capital mobilisation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, sustainability frameworks and the expanding governance responsibilities of modern finance leadership.
