About the Meeting

Join the AASHTO Committee on Environment and Sustainability in New Orleans for its Annual Meeting. This in person event brings together transportation environmental professionals from across the country for peer learning, practical discussion, and collaboration, all set within the energy, culture, and character of one of the South’s most distinctive cities.

The agenda focuses on the issues state DOTs manage every day. Sessions will address permitting review and process improvement, NEPA Assignment, resilience and disaster recovery, natural resources, air quality, stormwater, hazardous materials, tribal consultation, endangered species, noise, public involvement, workforce development, and emerging technology. Attendees will also receive federal updates, take part in interactive workshops, and engage in peer exchanges that highlight lessons learned and proven approaches from across the states.

Through a mix of plenary sessions, breakouts, and networking opportunities, the CES Annual Meeting fosters candid conversation, collaboration, and connection. From morning discussions to evening conversations in the heart of New Orleans, the meeting offers meaningful opportunities to learn from peers and strengthen professional relationships.

We look forward to welcoming you to New Orleans for a productive, engaging, and memorable week.
