RISE UP brings together clinicians, researchers, innovators, and advocates to advance new and actionable approaches to breast cancer prevention. Building on the momentum of our first two conferences, the 2027 meeting will harness the Bay Area’s spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and collaboration to move promising ideas toward real-world implementation.
This year’s program will explore emerging opportunities across breast cancer risk assessment and prevention, germline and polygenic testing, equitable implementation of new technologies, breast cancer biology and subtypes, treatment de-escalation, menopausal hormone therapy and symptom management, metabolic health and weight management, and the intersection of breast cancer risk with women’s health.
The conference will also feature the Ideas to Implementation Challenge, the Persistence in Prevention Award, and the return of Meeting of the Minds—an interactive dinner designed to bring attendees together around shared interests and spark new collaborations and research ideas.
