Payment is due at the time of registration, if paying by credit card, or MIT Cost Object. If paying by check or wire transfer, payment is due upon receipt of your auto-generated email confirmation. This confirmation will include a link to access your invoice. The option to submit payment by wire transfer will close on November 2.

Cancellations and Changes
Cancellations and other changes may be made online or by email to conferences-www@mit.edu.
Refunds for symposium cancellations received in writing by October 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EDT will be granted less a $100 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after October 1. No refunds will be given for portions of the registration not being used. All refunds will be made in US dollars and processed in the manner in which the original payment was submitted, with the possible exception of wire payments which, at the organizers’ discretion, may be refunded via check. Credit card refunds will be issued to the card that was used to make the payment.
Individuals are solely responsible for making and cancelling their own hotel and travel reservations. Please remember that cancelling or changing your symposium registration will not automatically cancel or change any hotel and travel arrangements you may have made. MIT takes no responsibility for any damages, costs, or losses, should you cancel or change your symposium registration, or should the 17th US-Japan Symposium on Drug Delivery Systems be cancelled, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
