IASA’s popular Leadership Academy strand returns with two powerful sessions designed to help you rediscover and strengthen your purpose as an educator.
Whether you’ve attended a “Why” session before or are joining Why Your Why Matters for the first time, this experience offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with colleagues from across the state, collaborate, and reflect on the purpose that drives your work. Together, we’ll reaffirm why education remains one of the most impactful professions in the world.
Why Attend?
Led by the Associate Director of Professional Learning, Dr. Dawn Bridges, this updated academy experience guides participants in reconnecting with the reasons they chose—and continue—to serve in education.
Through reflection, discussion, and interactive practice, you will:
- Reexamine your personal motivations and current social-emotional well-being
- Gain deeper insight into the perspectives and needs of your colleagues
- Build stronger, more supportive professional relationships
- Learn and practice strategies to coach yourself and others toward healthier, more productive social-emotional states
This academy is designed to leave you reenergized, refocused, and recommitted to supporting students and strengthening your school community.
Register today and invest in the purpose behind your leadership.
Dr. Bridges also offers this academy as a staff institute to school districts and educational organizations. Contact IASA to learn more.
