New Era of Security: Nuclear Threats and Beyond

The Baker School and the Center for National Security and Foreign Affairs invite you to an engaging conversation with Rose Gottemoeller, who will examine how a new era of warfare is reshaping U.S. national defense and what it means for how Americans understand security, resilience and defense.

Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine ushered in a new era of security challenges. Nuclear saber-rattling has returned, and drones have crossed into the territories of NATO members. Meanwhile, a shadow war of assassinations, severed undersea cables, and explosions at warehouses storing aid for Ukraine has spread across Europe.

Ms. Gottemoeller will be joined by Dr. David Arceneaux, Baker School assistant professor, for a brief Q&A immediately after the lecture.
