ANCHORED TOGETHER
Where the Pacific meets the shore and tides leave their mark on the sand, we gather in Seaside, Oregon for the 2026 ORPA Annual Conference. Along the coast, we’re reminded that anchors don’t hold ships back--they provide stability, direction, and strength in changing tides. Parks and recreation professionals play that same role in our communities. We are steady in purpose, adaptable in challenge, and strongest when connected. Together we’ll celebrate the collective impact we make when we align around shared values and a common vision for the future of our field.
This year’s theme, “Anchored Together” invites us to reflect on what grounds us, and what propels us forward. It’s about unity across agencies, disciplines, and regions. It’s about trust, collaboration, and resilience. And it’s about charting a bold course for the years ahead, rooted in purpose and strenghtned by partnership. In Seaside, we gather not just to learn, but to connect, recommit, and move forward... together.
