Join us for the Conference on Data Analysis, highlighting data-driven problems of interest to the Department of Energy. Talks and posters will feature research from the Department of Energy national laboratories, academia, and industry.

Held biennially since 2012, CoDA is hosted by Los Alamos National Laboratory. CoDA 2025 will be held at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center (map).

CoDA 2025 features six invited sessions February 25-27, 2025:

  2. Risk Analysis in the DOE
  3. Beyond Language: Foundation Models for Science
  4. Old School Data Science
  5. Data Science for Climate Security and Energy
  6. It’s About Time: Temporal and Streaming Data in DOE Research

Our originally planned classified session, CoDA Red, on February 28, has been canceled.

Key Dates

  1. 5 Nov 2024: If DOE funding will pay for your CoDA trip, submit your travel request to your organization by this lock date to support our approval process
  2. 23 Jan 2025: Poster abstracts due, 1,500 character limit
  3. 25-27 Feb 2025: CoDA!
  4. 13 30 June 2025: To be considered for the special CoDA journal issue, submit your manuscript by this date

Call for Posters

  • We welcome poster presentations on any data-driven research.
    Deadline for abstracts: January 23, 2025
  • Register first, then submit your abstract
  • Abstracts have a 1,500 character limit
  • Publication opportunity: After the conference, all presenters are invited to submit a manuscript for consideration in a peer reviewed special issue of Data Science in Science
    Deadline for manuscripts: June 13 June 30, 2025
  • Student prize: The American Statistical Association will sponsor a poster prize; all full-time students are eligible.
