Summary - R&D Exchange

DESCRIPTION:

Government, Industry and Academia are a network of professionals who have interest and expertise in supporting and connecting the community with research and development efforts that foster innovation, push science and technology frontiers, and address critical needs. It is important to know how the R&D will improve outcomes, influence policy, require standards or enterprise guidance and change best practices.

This R&D Exchange is designed to provide updates on current research efforts that are approved, published, and in progress with government along with what they are planning for their next steps/phases. Industry and Academia will share what research initiatives they are doing for the marketplace that are innovative, reduce risks, advance safety, align priorities, assess how they determine gaps and challenges, along with the importance of fostering collaboration with government and other stakeholders.
