Carbon accounting has evolved from primarily a reporting exercise into an important tool for operational, investment, and technology decisions. However, the growing number of methodologies, reporting boundaries, and disclosure requirements can create inconsistencies and uncertainty across industries.
The Houston Energy Transition Initiative (HETI) and BCarbon are convening leaders from the energy, chemicals, power, technology, finance, and professional-services sectors to build a clearer understanding of how carbon information is developed, interpreted, and applied.
Through expert panels and facilitated discussions, participants will examine how credible and comparable carbon data can support informed decisions, strengthen competitiveness, attract investment, improve market access, and accelerate the deployment of lower-carbon technologies.
