Join us for the Celebration of Achievement Awards Dinner at MHA’s 2026 Annual Convention, where we honor individuals and organizations who demonstrate the people-focused values that are foundational in Missouri’s hospital community.
Four awards will be presented at this year’s dinner event, including MHA’s highest honor — the Distinguished Service Award — as well as the Visionary Leadership, Aim for Excellence and Trustee of the Year awards.
Celebrate with us as we recognize individuals who personify dedication, innovation and leadership in the delivery of health care. These awards honor organizations and individuals who go above and beyond for their communities and who support the continuous improvement of health and care in Missouri.
At this event, you will hear stories of individuals and teams at hospitals and health systems whose contributions have profoundly impacted their patients and communities. Attendees will learn from their experiences and be inspired by how their work exemplifies hospitals’ commitment to a healthier future.
AWARDS TO BE PRESENTED
Aim for Excellence
Established in 2016, the Aim for Excellence Award is an annual, prestigious award recognizing Missouri hospitals’ innovation and outcomes. The award recognizes achievement, disseminates successful models, motivates innovation, promotes publication and supports application to nationally based grants and awards.
Trustee of the Year
The Trustee of the Year Award honors up to two individual trustees who currently serve, or served within the past year, on a Missouri hospital or health system governing board. The award recognizes leadership skills, grassroots advocacy, community involvement, meeting participation and personal development.
Visionary Leadership
Established in 1999, MHA’s Visionary Leadership Award is presented each year to hospital executives who have taken innovative approaches to managing the health of the communities they serve.
Distinguished Service
The Distinguished Service Award was established in 1975 to honor individuals who have made significant contributions to their hospitals or health systems, their communities, the field of health care, and the Missouri Hospital Association.
