TRAVEL INSURANCE

Q: When can I purchase travel insurance
A: Travel insurance can be purchased after the initial deposit has been processed.

Kintetsu offers travel insurance through Travel Insured. Please visit the Travel Insurance page on CVENT by clicking here for more information.

Travel insurance is totally optional and should be purchased based on your needs for coverage during your trip.

Q: Should I purchase travel insurance?
A: This is a matter of personal preference, and some people purchase for "peace of mind", others may purchase insurance based on past travel experience. It is all up to you.

Q: When should I purchase travel insurance?
A: You may purchase travel insurance via Travel Insured as long as it is purchased 48 hours prior to departure. The premiums do not get more expensive close to departure and are only based on the traveler's age and trip cost and plus any optional add-ons. Q: Can I purchase travel insurance from another company?
A: Yes. Travel insurance can be purchased from any carrier of your choice.

Q: How can I purchase Travel Insurance via Kintetsu (Travel Insured)?
A: You can purchase travel insurance with Travel Insured by going through the CVENT site by clicking here. The page will have information about Group Protection Plan (Tour Together) Kintetsu offers.

MOBILE WiFi RENTAL

Q: Do I need a mobile WiFi device in Japan?
A: Yes, If you wish to have internet access on your personal device (smartphone, iPad, laptop, iWatch etc....) while in Japan. Most hotels have internet access capabilities however outside of the hotel there is limited public WiFi access. Renting the mobile WiFi device does not mean phone calls (calling/receiving) on your cellular phone are free, the mobile WiFi device only provides a connection for internet access.

Before you consider ordering the mobile WiFi device, our suggestion is to first check with your cellular phone company/provider if your plan (talk/data/text) includes data roaming/internet access and its cost (including for talk and text).
