Because dermatology is more than skin deep, Elevate-Derm has created the JAK Symposium which aims to highlight specialized and targeted therapies emerging from the JAK world and the power of integrative care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a whole-patient approach to medicine. Together, we'll examine how these connections are shaping the future of our specialty and improving the care we deliver every day.

Matthew Brunner earned his Master of Health Science degree in PA studies from the University of South Alabama in 2000. Since 2001, he has been practicing dermatology in metropolitan Atlanta, accumulating over two decades of experience.

Matthew's achievements have been recognized with the prestigious AAPA Distinguished Fellow (DFAAPA) designation in 2017. In 2020, he founded the Elevate-Derm Conference, where he serves as the Program Director. He is dedicated to advancing professional education opportunities for dermatology professionals, including both PAs and NPs.

He resides in Macon, Georgia, with his spouse and two dachshunds. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and outdoor activities.

Keri Holyoak received a joint Master of Public Health/Master of Science in Health Sciences from George Washington University. She has practiced as a dermatology PA since 2005.

She is a past president of the SDPA, adjunct clinical instructor for the University of Utah PA program, and founding trustee of the Dermatology PA Foundation. She served on a content development workgroup with the AAD creating educational activities on the AAD’s online learning center. She’s overseen conference education planning for dermatology PAs since 2012, and now is the medical director for Elevate Derm’s Summer and Fall meetings.

She and her husband have three curious children and enjoy exploring the roads less traveled together.

Veronica Richardson is a medical dermatology nurse practitioner at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Dermatology. She has been practicing as an APP in the field of medical dermatology since 2011.

She has served on the medical board of the National Psoriasis Foundation, and is currently serving on the APP Medical Advisory Board of NPF. She serves on the leadership board for the Elevate Derm NP/PA educational conference and speaking faculty for the Center for Dermatology Nursing Practice review course.

She and her husband are city dwellers Monday-Friday. On the weekends you can find them snowboarding, hiking, fishing and cooking in the Poconos with their two rescue mutts.
