"Housing and economic development are intricately tied together. When people cannot afford to live near where they work, businesses struggle to attract and retain talent. When families are priced out of a community, that community loses its vitality. When young people cannot see a path to homeownership, New Jersey loses talent from the next generation.  A safe home is the foundation for everything. It’s an anchor for families and a platform to build a life.

My Administration came into office with a clear commitment to make New Jersey more affordable. We cannot make New Jersey more affordable without making housing more affordable. We need more homes near jobs, transit, and opportunities - homes that working families, seniors, and young people can actually afford. And we need to build them faster by cutting red tape, removing unnecessary barriers, and aligning government around a shared goal."
