Coaching for Impact Certification

The Coaching for Impact Certification is a two-day immersive professional learning experience designed for instructional coaches, site and district leaders, and educators responsible for driving instructional improvement. Rooted in the Coaching for Impact framework, this certification equips participants with the mindsets, tools, and actionable practices that accelerate teacher growth and student achievement.

Through hands-on practice, reflection protocols, and rubrics, participants will learn how to build and restore trust, curate quality coaching questions, analyze impact through learning walks and rubrics, and co-construct professional learning plans that lead to sustained improvement. Whether new to coaching or a seasoned leader, this certification will deepen participants' understanding of what works best in coaching and how to implement it with credibility, clarity, and care.

Day 1:

Learning Intention:

We are learning how to establish foundational coaching mindsets, skills, and processes that foster trust, guide reflective practice, and accelerate impact.

Success Criteria:

● I can explain and apply the foundational dimensions and processes of high-impact coaching.

● I can use coaching habits–especially trust-building–to foster and restore strong teacher relationships.

● I can curate quality questions to ensure meaningful coaching conversations and leverage rubrics to guide reflection, goal setting, and growth.

Day 2:

Learning Intention:

We are learning how to refine and apply advanced coaching tools and strategies to elevate impact, align systems, and sustain growth across classrooms and schools.

Success Criteria:

● I can set SMARTIE goals and craft clear coaching agreements that support sustainable change.

● I can design and engage in learning walks and meta-coaching protocols to enhance my coaching practice.

● I can co-construct aligned professional learning plans that connect coaching to teacher and student outcomes. 

Attendees of the institute will receive:

• A copy of Coaching for Impact
• Editable PPTs and video created exclusively for certified trainers
• Access to the Coaching certified trainer portal that will house all supplementary resources and provide a streamlined means of communication between the Thought Leaders, Corwin and the certified trainers
• Regular newsletters and updates to the content and resources.

Registration Price: $2,975

Must be employed by a School System, County Office of Education or
Education Service Agency to participate.

The  Coaching for Impact Certification license is good for three years from the date of the training and is eligible for renewal.
