Agentic AI and Robotics hybrid workshop, August 27, 2026, from 2–6 p.m. EDT.

AUGUST 27, 2026 | 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM EDT

Workshop Overview

Organized by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), this virtual workshop will convene leading experts from academia and industry to explore how agentic AI and robotics are transforming biomedical research by accelerating the pace and rigor of scientific discovery. Speakers will showcase cutting-edge advances, including agentic AI systems that synthesize evidence and support hypothesis generation, models that integrate complex multimodal datasets, and robotics-enabled platforms that automate laboratory workflows. Together, these advances point toward a future in which AI-powered research systems integrate experimental design, disease modeling, and laboratory execution as an intelligent process to improve the scale, reproducibility, and efficiency of biomedical research, accelerating the path from biological insight to therapeutic development for AD/ADRD and other complex diseases.
