Eighty years after the atomic bombings of Japan, BOMBSHELL investigates how the US government co-opted the press and censored firsthand reporting from the ground in order to control the narrative about the bomb, while minimizing the horrific human toll.

BOMBSHELL tells the story of one journalist who gladly did the government's bidding--and a group of reporters who challenged the official messaging.
