AI Workshop – Security, Audit and Control of AI
Tuesday, May 26, 2026
COURSE ABSTRACT
AI is no longer emerging, it is operating as a core enterprise system, making decisions, automating controls, and creating new risk exposures that traditional audits and security assessments struggle to see. This one‑day seminar gives IT assurance, cybersecurity, and GRC professionals a practical framework for governing and assuring AI systems with confidence. Anchored in NIST AI RMF and OWASP LLM Top 10, the session translates how AI actually works and fails into actionable audit, security, and governance strategies.
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
- Define and describe foundational AI concepts to apply towards use cases and AI enablement initiatives
- Identify AI‑specific risks that challenge traditional audit and cyber control models
- Assess AI governance, accountability, and control effectiveness across the lifecycle
- Apply NIST AI RMF and OWASP LLM Top 10 to real‑world assurance scenarios
- Adapt audit and cybersecurity techniques to opaque, fast‑moving AI systems
- Provide credible assurance when AI drives high‑impact business decisions
