Scholarship - 2026 NAPABA Convention

NAPABA strives to keep the Convention affordable for our members and offers one of the best values among legal education conferences. The Convention Scholarship Program provides financial support in the form of a registration discount that may be applied toward a full or one-day Convention registration, as well as eligible ticketed events, including the Plenary Luncheons, Saturday Closing Celebration, and Women’s Leadership Breakfast and Luncheon. The scholarship program may not be used for travel, lodging, or other expense reimbursements.

NAPABA offers a General Convention Scholarship and a Law Student Scholarship. You may only apply to one scholarship program.

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be a current member of NAPABA. If you are unsure about your NAPABA membership status, sign in to your NAPABA member profile. All questions related to membership may be directed to membership@napaba.org.
Only law students are eligible for the Law Student Scholarship Program. Students may be required to provide proof of current enrollment or student status to verify eligibility for this program/benefit.
Scholarships are non-transferable.
Group applications are not accepted.
Submission of a scholarship application is not a guarantee of financial support.
Decisions are final and are not subject to appeal.
Prevailing registration rates apply. Announcements will be provided prior to the end of the Early-Bird discount period so that award recipients can take advantage of the best value. Early bird registration ends August 24, 2026.

Scholarship Announcements:

Scholarship award notifications will be emailed to applicants on the dates below. Award amounts vary based on scholarship type and membership type.

General Scholarship: The week of August 10
Law Student Scholarship: The week of September 21

Eligible registration item: The registration discount can be applied to full or one-day registration as well as eligible ticketed events.

If you are awarded a scholarship after you have already registered, NAPABA will refund you for the portion of your registration and eligible ticketed event costs covered by the scholarship award.
