The PBI 2026 Annual Conference is the legal profession’s premier pro bono event tailored to the interests and needs of pro bono leaders at law firms, in-house legal departments, and public interest organizations.
This year’s Conference will include staples such as: Law Firm Pro Bono 101; Roundtable for Experienced Pro Bono Professionals; Building Impact: Developing an In-House Pro Bono Program; Winning Strategies to Grow In-House Pro Bono; Public Interest Exchange: Unlocking Strategies for Success, and more! We are also planning interactive sessions and workshops covering a variety of current and emerging topics that impact law firms, in-house departments, and public interest organizations. In addition, networking opportunities will include the Welcome Reception, the Pro Bono EXPO, lunches, breakfasts, and the presentation of PBI's 2026 Laurie D. Zelon Pro Bono Award and 2026 President’s Award at the Conference Reception on Thursday evening.
Many sessions will offer CLE credit.

Maximizing Access, Maximizing Justice: Expanding Pro Bono Beyond Traditional Limits
This year, PBI will offer a Pre-Conference on how the legal community can innovate to advance justice in changing times. The Pre-Conference will explore cutting edge initiatives, tools, and ideas to engage lawyers, legal staff, expert service providers, and community partners to broaden access to justice and deepen impact.
