The Health Research Foundation (HRF) of Innovative Medicines Canada is proud to present Healthcare Reimagined—a half-day conference taking place on November 17, 2026, at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre.

Under this year’s theme, From Breakthrough to Scale: Making Innovation Work Across Canada, Healthcare Reimagined reflects the HRF’s continued commitment to advancing applied health system research and fostering collaboration to address Canada’s most pressing healthcare challenges. The event will bring together leaders from academia, life sciences, healthcare, patient organizations, industry, and government to explore bold, evidence-informed approaches to strengthening Canada's health system and improving health outcomes.

Aligned with the HRF’s mission to catalyze scalable, real-world solutions, the conference will showcase how applied health system research, cross-sector collaboration, and innovation can accelerate the implementation of promising ideas from evidence and local success to broader adoption, implementation, and impact across Canada’s health systems. Through thought-provoking discussions and practical examples, participants will explore what it takes to scale what works and ultimately translate innovation into better access, care, and outcomes for patients.

Following the conference, we will host the HRF Awards Reception, celebrating excellence in Canadian health research and innovation. This year’s awards include:
