2026 AAHCI European Regional Meeting

Health Professions Education in the Era of AI

Hosted by the University of Vienna in collaboration with the Alliance of Academic Health Centers International (AAHCI) and its European Regional Office

We are pleased to announce our 2026 AAHCI European meeting that will take place at the Medical University in Vienna, Austria from August 30th to September 1st. The overall topic will be Health Professions Education in the Era of AI.

 Session topics include:

• Learning and teaching with AI and other new technologies 
• Learning and teaching in a hospital 
• Assessing students in the AI era
• Curriculum design and reform
• Assessing the quality of teaching
• Medical Humanities and Ethics in health professions education

This AAHCI Regional Meeting is open to all faculty and learners from AAHCI member institutions. Non-members who wish to register for the meeting must get prior approval. Please email Alcenia McIntosh-Peters (amcintoshpeters@aamc.org) with any questions.
