Terms & Conditions

NCCN is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for all event participants and NCCN staff. These are terms and conditions governing your participation in any NCCN owned and operated in-person, virtual, or hybrid event. By registering for any NCCN event, you agree to these terms. If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure the person participating is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration on behalf of another individual you are warranting that you have made the participant aware of these terms and that they have accepted them.

1. Participant Expectations

1.1 Access:
Registration entitles you to access an NCCN event, either online or in-person, for which you have registered. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance shall be borne solely by you, and NCCN shall have no liability for such costs.

1.2 Online Attendance:
This component of the event is being delivered virtually and as such NCCN will provide guidelines on best operating systems to use for optimal participation. By default, no content needs to be accessible via a firewall or VPN. However, NCCN cannot control the default restrictions set by your internet provider, organizational firewalls, or virus protection software. Refunds will not be provided to participants that are unable to attend the conference due to local disruptions in internet service or technical difficulties as described above.

1.3 In-Person Attendance:
In-person event participants may be asked to attest to being fully vaccinated prior to the event and agree to abide by all requested safety procedures, including onsite masking and distancing requirements outlined by NCCN. Attendees that fail to comply may be denied entry to any in-person meetings and functions and are instead invited to attend the conference virtually, if offered by NCCN.

1.4 Use of Likeness:
By participating in any NCCN event, you acknowledge and agree to grant NCCN the right to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness at the event in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you.

1.5 Limitations of Use:
By registering for an NCCN event, you agree not to sell, trade, transfer, or share your access link and/or onsite meeting badge, unless such transfer is granted by the Organizer. If NCCN determines that you have violated this policy, NCCN may cancel your access, retain any payments made by you, and may ban you from future NCCN events.

1.6 Disruptive Behavior:
You acknowledge and agree that NCCN reserves the right to remove you from any NCCN event without warning or monetary refund if NCCN, in its sole discretion, determines that your participation or behavior creates disruption or hinders the event or the enjoyment of the event by other participants. Examples of disruptive behavior include but are not limited to:

  • a) Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination in any form.
  • b) Verbal abuse of any attendee, speaker, volunteer, exhibitor, NCCN staff member, vendor, or other meeting guest.
  • c) Disruption of presentations during sessions, in the exhibit hall, or at other events organized by NCCN throughout the event.

All participants must comply with the instructions of the moderator(s) and any NCCN staff. NCCN reserves the right to prohibit attendance at any future NCCN event, in-person or virtually.

1.7 Non-Discrimination/Harassment Policy – Affiliated Persons and Volunteers:
NCCN is committed to providing workplaces and events that are free from discrimination or harassment of any kind for all participants, and has a zero-tolerance policy for any such conduct. NCCN requires individuals participating on NCCN Guidelines Panels, standing and ad hoc committees, meetings and seminars, or other NCCN-affiliated activities and events to adhere to this policy. 1.8 Use of Event Materials:
No part of any NCCN event, including handout materials and slides, may be recorded, rebroadcasted, reproduced, or transmitted in any other form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, without first obtaining written permission from NCCN. Participants are permitted to print a copy of handouts for personal use only.

2. Refund Policy

No refunds will be granted for NCCN events beyond what is stated on the specific event at www.NCCN.org. Registrants may have the opportunity to access an NCCN virtual event platform after a live event has concluded. Refunds will not be provided to registrants that are unable to attend the virtual aspect of an event due to technical difficulties with personal or organizational hardware, networking, firewalls or internet disruptions.
