Overview

The Building Your Legacy (BYL) program in Minneapolis is focused on helping you design a plan for how you will grow your organization to reach your goals. This program is offered by Great Clips executives and will provide you with a global view of the organization and the talent lined up to help you succeed. It is part of the larger, blended QuickConnect program consisting of online courses, in-person training, and activities to build out your salon.

Who Can Participate?

New franchisees are required to attend all sessions of this training within the time frame specified in the Operations Manual. Failure to complete all aspects of QuickConnect as required will result in a Training Department compliance violation, per the terms of the Great Clips Compliance Policy. If you are not on a Franchise Agreement, you will need to sign a non-disclosure document before participating.

Objectives

• Feel the culture and values of Great Clips to be reassured franchisee success is a priority.  
• Embrace the brand; understand why you should use the proven system you’ve bought into.  
• Realize that the success of Great Clips and the success of franchisees is aligned. We share one vision of working together.  
• Bond with other franchisees and create long term relationships.  
• Support and connect with new franchises throughout their New Franchisee Support (NFS) journey so they are confident, engaged, and thriving on their first day of business and beyond.

Parking

There is a free parking ramp on the south side of the Westin hotel.

What to Wear

Smart casual is requested at all meetings, nice jeans are fine. Keep in mind that the temperature of meeting rooms in large facilities is always difficult to regulate, so layering is your best bet. A lightweight jacket or sweater would be appropriate for that purpose. You will want to bring a heavy jacket for the short time you are outside.

Meals

The meeting begins with our welcome reception on Monday evening from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. There will be heavy appetizers and beverages served. The Westin hotel is connected to the Galleria Mall. There are several restaurants in the mall if you would like to grab dinner after the reception.

 Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided on day 2 and 3.

Investment

Franchisees invest in all costs associated with the trip, including meals, travel, etc. Great Clips, Inc. pays for the meeting facilities, speakers, and any materials related to the speakers and sessions and meals during the meeting times.
