About the Conference:
Transformation. Connection. Community
The 2026 CYDC & CMP Fall Conference gathers the people who shape Colorado's youth-serving systems for three days of learning and collaboration at the Grand Hyatt Vail, October 7-9. Attendees include judicial district coordinators, county and state partners, practitioners, and advocates.
Hosted by the Division of Youth Services (DYS), part of the Residential and Reintegration Services area of the Colorado Department of Human Services, the event reflects the CDHS mission of helping Coloradans thrive. It unites two key partnerships: the Colorado Youth Detention Continuum (CYDC), which strengthens community-based alternatives to detention across the state's judicial districts, and the Collaborative Management Program (CMP), which connects county agencies, courts, schools, and family advocates to serve youth and families across systems.
Guided by this year's theme, the conference brings the CYDC and CMP together around a shared vision: transforming outcomes, strengthening connections, and building community for Colorado's youth and families.
