  • Every accepted paper for any of the paper tracks listed below, needs to register for one full conference author registration. To be included in the proceedings, every accepted paper must be covered by a full conference author registration rate, of which payment must be completed by the camera-ready deadline. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact registration@kdd.org

  • If you are a student presenting a paper, you must register under the full conference author registration rate.

I have multiple accepted papers. Do I need to register multiple times?

  • For every accepted paper, there needs to be one UNIQUE full conference registration. Do not register multiple times - instead, someone else from your other accepted papers must register.

I cannot attend in person. Can I present my paper virtually?

  • This year KDD is planned to be a fully in-person conference. There will be no virtual component to the conference and papers cannot be presented virtually. If you cannot attend in person to present, please find a co-author to present for you. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for KDD to present their work in person.

My paper was accepted for a tutorial and/or workshop. Do I need to register for a full-conference registration?

  • Accepted paper authors for tutorials and workshops do not have to follow the same registration rules that the ADS, Research, Data Benchmark, AI for Sciences, and BlueSky Authors must follow. They can register under whatever category best fits them, including the student registration category, so long as you are registered prior to arriving at the conference.
